He’s Still Writing Your Story
Jeremiah 29:11 and the Hope That Holds
💙 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11
There’s something about that word “hope” that hits different when your plans fall apart.
You know the moments I mean—when the calendar fills with unexpected appointments, when you thought you’d be past this by now, or when your prayers are still waiting for answers.
Maybe this isn’t the season you expected.
Maybe it’s heavier.
Quieter.
Lonelier.
Or just… unexpected.
Dear friends, I’m so thankful that God doesn’t make careless plans.
He sees the big picture when all we can see is fog. When life feels like a maze and your strength feels thin, He’s still steady. Still good. Still holding it all together.
Lately, I’ve had to remind myself of this truth daily—especially during recovery, in the slow places, the healing places, and the hidden ones.
Maybe you’re there too.
Let this be your gentle reminder:
He’s not just with you—He’s for you.
Every detour, every delay, every tear—it’s not wasted.
You are in the palm of His hand.
You are fully known.
And your future is still safe in His everlasting care.
🫂 So keep trusting. If you have breath in your lungs, God is still writing your story.
And friend, His stories never end in defeat.
With hope,
Brooke 💛
